In 1983, director Ian Emes gave Duran Duran this masterpiece. A mix between Helmut Newton photos, Charlotte Rampling in The Night Porter and Catherine Deneuve in Belle de Jour, this video is the portrait of an era and the highest expression of the erotic.
The hypnotic beat of the music and the image of the pulse of a drumming engine the lyrics suggest leaves anyone on the verge of masturbation. The urge, desire and complicity of these two women suggests the ultimate pleasure literally as "le petit mort", where desire and death walk hand in hand.
